RWANDA, UAE SIGN MOU ON SECURITY AND COUNTER TERRORISM
On wednesday 14 February 2024, the Minister of Interior of Rwanda, Hon. GASANA Alfred and, Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of UAE , signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing security and counter-terrorism efforts between the two countries.
The signing ceremony took place at the World Governments Summit in Dubai yesterday.
The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in combating various crimes and facilitating information exchange to reduce crime rates. It also outlines joint initiatives such as training programs and courses to further enhance policy and security capabilities.
