RWANDA HOSTS THE 2ND CHINA_EAPCCO MINISTERIAL DIALOGUE

On 5 November 2025, the Rwandan Ministry of Interior   hosted the 2nd China - Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) Ministerial Dialogue on Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation in Kigali.

This high-level meeting brought together Ministers responsible for Police Affairs and Police Chiefs of EAPCCO member States and representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security

 The dialogue focused on capacity development for law enforcement and security agencies within the EAPCCO region and enhancing joint efforts to combat transnational organized crimes, cybersecurity and counter-terrorism. The closing of the dialogue was marked by the signing of the joint communiqué.

The first China-EAPCCO Ministerial Dialogue on Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation was held in Beijing on 7th September 2024.
