DELEGATION FROM ZAMBIA CORRECTIONAL SERVICE VISIT THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR
On Tuesday 29th November 2022, the Commissioner General of Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS), CG Frederick S.S Chilukutu and his delegation visited the Ministry of Interior.
The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. SESONGA Benjamin. He briefed them on the mission and responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior
The Permanent secretary recalled the strong partnership between Rwanda and Zambia especially in the field of Correctional Services where by a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 3rd December 2020 during the 7th Joint Permanent Commission for cooperation (JPCC) meeting between the two countries that was held virtually while the implementation guidelines were signed on 26th April 2021 during the bilateral meeting that was held in Kigali.
The delegation is in Rwanda for five-day study visit following ongoing cooperation between Rwanda Correctional Service and Zambia Correctional Service.
